Further information on Junior Membership for 5-10 years Junior Membership rates cover the cost of one riding session each week. Substantial discounts have been built in to allow for any sessions missed due to sickness or holidays. Junior Members wishing to reschedule a previously booked ride, should provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice and the ride can then be transferred to a date within 5 days of the cancelled ride. Please note that cancelled designated rides cannot be accrued, carried forward, transferred or refunded. Membership is allocated to the individual and lessons covered by the Membership agreement cannot be transferred to another person. There is a joining fee, payable in advance, equivalent to one months' membership. Membership subscriptions can be paid either annually by cash, cheque, credit/debit card, or monthly by standing order, credit/debit card. Membership can run for any period of time (minimum of two months) with one month’s notice required for termination. Memberships run from the 1st of the month so we must be notified by the 1st if you want to cancel for the next month. If you pay by Standing Order you must inform the bank yourself that you wish to cancel your payment. Riding Attire All riders must wear a riding hat to the current BSI standard and shoes or boots with a smooth sole and small heel. Trainers should not be worn. We are able to lend hats to children who do not yet have their own. We highly recommend that you buy jodhpurs and boots for your child and, in addition, you may wish to purchase a body protector. Also please remember that we ride in all weathers, so we strongly advise purchasing some good warm waterproof clothing, including gloves. Opening Times The Stables are open Tuesday through to Sunday between 9.00 and 5.00. Punctuality In order to ensure that all lessons leave promptly, children must arrive at least 15 minutes before the time of their ride. Safety
