Wimbledon Village Stables is a British Horse Society and ABRS Approved London Livery Yard (Horse Boarding Stables) which offers two unique types of livery service for our Members,  Standard and Bespoke Livery.

Our top priority is to ensure that all the horses in our care are fit, happy and content.  We make sure that they are exercised and schooled if required and we take responsibility for  every aspect of their welfare such as catering for specific dietary needs, grooming, clipping, worming, saddlery fitting, shoeing and arranging for veterinary care,  including twice yearly dental checks and annual vaccinations.  We also organise their regular holidays at grass.

dream.  A horse is an adulthood treasure"

Alice and Marian Another major advantage with both our Livery services is that owners have the opportunity to join any of the group lessons and most of our Short Courses, completely free of charge!

Our friendly, professional team is always on hand to offer support and advice as our aim is to take the worry out of horse ownership, allowing you to fully enjoy and appreciate the time you spend with your horse.

We take great care to make sure that the service we provide is definitely going to suit you, after all our main interest is to ensure you become another happy and contented livery at Wimbledon Village Stables.

Standard Livery

Our Standard Livery option is possibly the most affordable and flexible way to keep horses in London, with exactly the same high standards of care and attention for your horse as  the Bespoke Livery  option provides.  It is also ideal for those with time constraints who would be unable to provide the amount of time needed to exercise their horse on a daily basis.  The most obvious difference between Standard and Bespoke Livery is that Standard allows your horse to be ridden by our clients too.

It goes without saying that we always ensure horses are treated with the utmost care and respect by our clients, and that they are fully supervised at all times.  The horses are always paired with riders of appropriate ability, and our  instructors are on hand to school the horses when necessary to ensure that their level of training is not only maintained, but also improved.

Bespoke Livery

Wimbledon Village Stables offers an exclusive Bespoke Livery service that, as the description suggests, can be tailored to meet the most exacting needs.  Horses on Bespoke Livery are ridden only by the owner and our Instructors and individual programmes are devised to give you something a little more special and a little more unique to your personal requirements.  Please call in to the office if you would like to discuss your Bespoke Livery requirements.

"The joy of horses is not the riding,
jumping or showing, but of owning."

Whichever Livery service you choose, we understand that owners should feel confident that their horse is being sympathetically cared for every day by a dedicated and professional team who strive to give their all – not just to the horse but, importantly, to the owner too!  We endeavour to provide the best in customer service and you can rest assured that we will do our utmost in order for you and your horse to flourish and enjoy being part of the unique environment that is Wimbledon Village Stables.

Livery spaces do not become available very often but, when they do, our Members have priority.
