Our hacks are for experienced riders only.

Should you wish to improve your skills, we
have expert qualified instructors to help you achieve your goals.
Lessons
take place in the schooling ring in the heart of the Common.

Private lessons are available for those
wanting more specialised instruction.

In addition, we run a range of Special
weekday Short Courses that cater
for all ranges of ability which have proved
to be very popular.

Beginners and novice riders are taught on
the tracks, with a private instructor
either leading them or riding beside them
if they are able to ride off the lead rein.

We also organise regular lectures and
demonstrations for those keen to learn.

After your ride you can enjoy a cold drink and a
friendly welcome
from the Dog and Fox or Brewery Tap.......

.......or relax in one of the many
coffee shops or restaurants in the Village

.At Christmas we hold a magical Carol
Concert in the Stable Yard.

Wimbledon Village Stables operates a
unique Membership Scheme
which offers clients the benefits of an exclusive

Member's Events
Our Annual Charity Ball in
March is held at the Cannizaro Hotel. It is a fabulous evening
and a great opportunity for everybody to meet up and let their
hair down. Our spectacular raffle always raises thousands of pounds
for the Royal Marsden Hospital.

After the Ball another fun social evening where
Members have the opportunity to test their equestrian
knowledge at our Annual Pub Quiz night

Our Annual Summer Show in aid of the
Wimbledon Guild takes place in June on the Common by Rushmere Pond.
There are Jumping and Showing classes for all levels. It is a
great day out and Members who are not competing can come along on
the day and help out. After the show there's a chance to
unwind back at the yard with a beer (or wine!) and a burger!

During the show the Instructors perform
their Musical Ride. We also hold another Musical ride in December for
Members and liveries.

At the end of the Summer we hold our Member's Horse Show.
There are showing and jumping classes and a special prize for the Champion
of the Day.

Our Awards Party at the end of
September is a chance for everyone to meet up again after the long
Summer Holidays.

Our Annual Sponsored Ride takes place on
two separate days in October and it gives
Members the opportunity to participate in an enjoyable charity event which
raises money for the Royal Marsden Hospital. Last year our riders were
sponsored over £20,000 to complete the 10 mile ride over Wimbledon Common
and Richmond Park. There are several free competitions and, if you want to, you can even
take part wearing fancy dress!

We are a friendly, lively
yard with a wealth of experience in developing the skills of both the capable
rider and the novice. Riders who simply ride to have fun and relax are as
important to us as those determined to improve and compete. Each and every
client is treated as an individual and our own special 'community' is enriched by
people of all abilities, from all walks of life, with one thing in common - a
love of horses and riding.
