In order to ensure that we maintain the highest levels of customer service for our Members we have very limited availability for non-members in the coming months. To find out more about being a Member please see our Membership Pages.

  • Think of a date and time you would like to ride. Horse riding at weekends is reserved for WVS Members.
  •  Simulator lessons are available 7 days a week including some weekday evenings.
  • Submit the Ride Enquiry form below
  • Receive an e-mail confirming date or suggesting new date
  • Respond within 24 hours to arrange payment
  • See you at the stables for your ride!

General Riding Terms & Conditions

  • Bookings can be made over the phone, via email or in person in the office and full payment is required in advance at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation policy: Strictly 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a ride, whatever the reason for cancellation or the full fee is charged and regrettably there is no exception for illness.
  • Approved riding hats and boots with a small heel must be worn to ride. We have a selection which can be borrowed for the duration of your ride or lesson.
  • Horse riding is an outdoor activity and therefore we ride in all weathers.
  • The rides leave promptly and riders should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their ride time to allow time for filling in an Assessment Form and for hat and boot fitting if required.  It is essential to be honest about your weight and riding ability for your own safety.
  • If you are running late please telephone the office. If you arrive late and miss your ride it will not be possible to reschedule or for us to offer a refund.
  • Horse riding is a risk sport. Your choice to ride is voluntary and while we take care to provide suitable and safe horses for our customers, all animals can be unpredictable.
  • WVS does not accept any responsibility for any items left at the Stables while clients are riding.
  • WVS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time
