The Annual Members’ Show in August was certainly the wettest on record! It poured all day but spirits were not dampened! Horses and riders were all beautifully turned out at the start of the day with Donna winning the Condition and Turnout prize.
Unfortunately, by the time the riders were in the ring ready to compete, the mud splatters had spread and windscreen wipers would have been useful to help riders find their way through the soggy conditions.
Our wonderfully resilient members soldiered on, however, and there were some great results in the showing classes
There was a short break in the clouds for the afternoon’s hotly contested show jumping competition. Where Katie & Emerald were crowned Champion of the Day.
Congratulations to our fantastic competitors who kept smiling all day! And a big thank you must also go to our wonderful helpers who kept everything running smoothly throughout the day.
