We were absolutely delighted that Clare Balding came to the Stables and met our Members. She spent over an hour talking to people and signing copies of her new book ‘Walking Home: My Family and Other Rambles’ before attending the Wimbledon Bookfest on the Common.
And guess what – the first thing she mentioned to the couple of hundred people at the Bookfest was how fabulous and friendly WVS was! We have invited her to come riding with us and will keep you posted when she comes.
