Horse Riding Holidays and Short Breaks in London at Wimbledon Village Stables
Take a fabulous short break with us here at WVS. What could be better than combining horse riding in some of the South of England’s most fabulous riding country, shopping in the some of the capital’s greatest streets and boutiques and staying at either Cannizaro House Hotel or The Rose & Crown; the smartest hotels Wimbledon has to offer or the cosy Fox and Grapes Inn?
Our brilliant two-day Short Breaks for horse riders can be tailored specifically to meet your needs but, typically, comprise a combination of hacking and instruction in the morning with afternoons and evenings left free to capitalise on the brilliant shopping and entertainment opportunities available both locally in Wimbledon and in central London.
For example, after a 9am lesson on Wimbledon Common and a 2hr hack to Richmond Park at 10.15am, take a leisurely lunch at one of the fabulous cafés or restaurants in the Village before heading back to your hotel to shower and change. Take a taxi, bus or train into London for some sightseeing and shopping; Kensington & Chelsea and Knightsbridge are only 20 minutes away, and the West End and Covent Garden just a little further. Why not reserve a table at one of London’s world-famous restaurants and book tickets for a show to round off the evening? Show a little restraint, though, as Day Two could start with a head-clearing hack at 9am followed by instruction at 11.30am .
As these Horse Riding Holidays are bespoke, prices do vary and accommodation, restaurant and theatre bookings are not included!
We recommend the following places to stay:

It’s also a great place for afternoon tea. It’s the little touches that make it stand out, every coffee is served with homemade biscuits, free Wi-Fi is available throughout and when you stay there’s a welcome tipple waiting for you to enjoy.
