What a fabulous evening! The Hotel du Vin did us proud and provided the perfect venue for our 2020 Charity Ball on Saturday 7th March. With 130 enthusiastic party goers, the evening proved a huge success

A lively drinks reception, with entertainment from some excellent magicians, was followed by a delicious three course meal. The very exciting raffle saw David Blackall walk away with the top prize, a £500 Harrods Voucher kindly donated by Masahiro and Makiko Honsawa. The total raised from the raffle was £4,695, an incredible amount. The Silent Auction raised a further £4000 . The highlight of the evening, however, had to be our in-house band, ‘The Unstables’, with lead singer Marcus, guitarist Chris, Peter on bass and Luka on drums. The four of them had got together following one of our Members’ drinks parties in October and formed the band. I am sure you will agree that they were absolutely fabulous!
