Riding for Non-Members
Wimbledon Village Stables is primarily a Members’ Club; however, we are delighted to welcome adult non-members who are confident riding independently in trot and canter These one hour rides take place on weekday mornings, at 9.00, 10.15, 11.30, Tuesday through to Friday and are subject to availability. We also offer 30 minute Equicise Horse Simulator lessons to adults and children of all abilities, seven days a week.
We offer the following for Non-Members
Private Ride – 1 hour
Our private rides offer a personalised experience on the beautiful tracks of Wimbledon Common, with your instructor riding alongside you. Ideal both as an introduction and for those who prefer a one-to-one experience, each session is tailored to you, whether you wish to refine your riding, build confidence, or simply enjoy a peaceful ride in exceptional surroundings. Set within over 1,100 acres of woodland and open common land, Wimbledon Common provides beautiful woodland rides and a rare sense of tranquillity just moments from Central London.

Escorted Ride – 1 hour
For more experienced riders, our small group rides provide a sociable yet refined way to explore Wimbledon Common, accompanied by one of our knowledgeable instructors. These rides are varied and engaging, with ever-changing scenery throughout the seasons. Riding in an open environment provides a true sense of freedom and is a wonderful way to improve both confidence and fitness.

EQUICISE lessons – 30 minutes
We are unable to offer ridden horse sessions for beginner or novice riders. However, we provide lessons on our EQUICISE horse simulator, offering an excellent introduction to riding in a safe and controlled environment.
The life-sized, fully interactive simulator allows both adults and children to develop fundamental skills, build confidence, and experience the rhythm of riding, all under the guidance of a dedicated instructor. Lessons are available seven days a week, providing flexibility and consistent support as you progress in your riding journey.
Experience Levels: 1–6
Times: Tuesday – Sunday between 9 and 3 pm
