Join our Riding Club and experience exceptional horse riding in London
Whether you want to simply relax and unwind out hacking, or focus on training and learning new skills, our friendly team of professionally-qualified instructors will ensure that your safety and enjoyment is their top priority. And our lovely horses, who enjoy their work as much as we do, are extremely well-schooled so you can be confident of a pleasurable ride. Our rides and lessons are social occasions too, with many riders forming great friendships which continue outside the stables.
The unique membership we have at Wimbledon Village Stables is essential for all keen horse riders, whether aspiring or established. The membership is designed to ensure our clients get the best possible value and customer care with huge discounts and priority bookings. In addition to the riding experiences listed below, for Members we also offer many social and educational events, many of which are free. Membership categories
Gold Membership: for weekend riders £270 per calendar month
Gold Member Simon writes:
“As someone for whom regular riding has become essential, WVS Gold Membership is perfect for me: I know that there will be a happy, engaged horse ready for me every Saturday afternoon, and looking forward to this helps to make the working week that much better. It is obvious how well cared for the horses are, because they are willing and forward and clearly enjoy their work. Not only are the staff talented and confidence-inspiring, they are also great fun, whether having a chat as we hack around the common or dancing at the annual charity ball. And what really sets WVS apart for me is the fantastic atmosphere and community around the yard – I have made so many new friends since I joined!”
Silver Membership: for weekday riders (Tuesday to Friday) £250 per calendar month
Silver Member Karen writes:
“Although theoretically I should have more time on my hands because I am not working full time I usually find myself rushing around trying to fit everything in. Being a Silver Member means that I know whatever happens I can get to ride every week when I want to and Claire in the office is very good at changing my ride around if I get stuck. I tend to go away most holidays with my family but it’s nice to know that when I return I’ll be in ‘The Book’ and able to catch up again with my riding friends.”
Associate Members: flexible Membership for occasional riders £450 per annum
Associate Member Briony writes:
“Associate membership is ideal for me because it’s so flexible: I really value being able to ride at different times during the week. Plus I love riding different horses regularly – it’s great riding experience, and lovely to get to know them all. Being able to attend lectures and join in events is fantastic – they are a great complement to the riding – and, of course, the priority booking and discounted rates are a major bonus!”
Private Membership: Private lessons on weekdays £375 per calendar month
Private Member Annie writes:
“I just love to know that when I come riding every week I can go at exactly the pace I want. Sometimes I just want to stroll around the Common, relax and enjoy the view but another day I want to be put through my paces, Being a private member gives me flexibility to decide on the day what I want to do and it always makes it an enjoyable experience.”
