Once a place is offered, payment in advance is required to secure your booking and full payment details will be provided at that time. Cancellations require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice; unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued for late cancellations.

Liability and Conduct Agreement*
I understand that horse activities involve inherent risk and that horses may behave unpredictably. I confirm that I am participating at my own risk and agree to follow all instructions given by Wimbledon Village Stables (WVS) staff at all times. I agree to treat all horses, staff, participants and visitors with respect. Any form of abuse towards people or animals, whether physical, verbal or otherwise, will not be tolerated and may result in my removal from the premises without refund.

Horse Care Course Terms & Conditions

  • Bookings can be made over the phone, via email or in person in the office and full payment is required in advance at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation policy: Strictly 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a Course, whatever the reason for cancellation or the full fee is charged and regrettably there is no exception for illness.
  • Appropriate clothing must be worn for practical sessions which includes sturdy boots, riding hat and gloves.
  • The lessons start promptly so make every effort to be on time and if you are running late please e-mail or telephone the office.
  • Horses, like all animals can be unpredictable at times and participants on courses should be aware of the risks involved in handling horses.
  •  WVS does not accept any responsibility for any items left at the Stables.
  • WVS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time
