Building on the knowledge gained in our Holistic Horse Care Course, this practical follow-up session is designed to help participants develop their confidence and skills in everyday horse care and handling.

With guidance from our experienced instructors, you’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on with the horses and learn essential practical skills, including how to safely put on and remove a headcollar, lead a horse with confidence, and tie a horse safely using appropriate techniques. You’ll also explore the basics of grooming, learning how to use grooming tools correctly and care for your horse in a calm, considerate way.

Throughout the session, we’ll focus on safe practices, understanding the horse’s responses, and developing a respectful approach to handling. You’ll learn how to work around horses safely, communicate clearly, and build on the connection developed during the introductory course.

This session is ideal for anyone who has completed our introductory Holistic Horse Care Course and would like to develop their knowledge further through practical experience. No riding is involved.

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
