Join us for a special members’ talk  with Carol and Caroline all about the connection we create with our horses when we ride. From the moment you get in the saddle, every small choice makes a difference – to you and to your horse.

This interactive session will give you the chance to learn how to establish connection from the very start of your ride and  understand your horse’s point of view as well as your own.  It will help you to develop a more harmonious and enjoyable partnership, whatever your level Venue: To be confirmed (depending on numbers)

Come along, share ideas, and discover new ways to ride in true partnership with your horse.  Followed by Members Drinks from 8-9 pm.  This is a free event for Members, the first drink is on us!

2.00-3.00  Our free Equicise demo sessions are  for members who are new to it or unsure how to use it effectively. These shared sessions are a great way to watch, learn, and understand how it all works.

🎄✨ Christmas Jumper Day – Thursday 11th December 2025 ✨🎄

We’re excited to be taking part in Save the Children UK’s Christmas Jumper Day!    We invite all our riders to wear their most festive jumpers to your ride and then join us afterwards for coffee, cakes, and Christmas cheer.    Donations for coffee, cake and treats will go directly to Save the Children.

👉 We’d also love some volunteers to bake a cake or help serve coffee – if you can lend a hand, please let us know.    Let’s make this a fun and festive day while raising money for a fantastic cause! ❤️

You should arrive anytime from 8.00 and don't worry if you have no previous experience as there is always plenty of sweeping to be done as well as making teas, coffees and breakfast for the volunteers! After an unforgettable evening this year, we are thrilled to announce that the WVS Charity Ball will return on Saturday, 7th March 2026!  Save the date for another spectacular night of dining, dancing, and entertainment—all in support of charity.

Each year, Hickstead Derby Day is one of our favourite events—and in 2026, we're thrilled to be getting our own hospitality box again!

This year’s experience was absolutely fabulous: we enjoyed exclusive access with prime views of the exciting Derby course, a delicious buffet lunch, afternoon tea, and all the comforts of our private space. It truly felt like a first-class celebration.
